About This Project

The Sunny-Side Farmhouse is a modern styled farmhouse with real-wood details. It has been customized to capture natural lighting throughout every room. The unique promotion of Vitamin D has given this home its name-sake. In addition to large window-scapes and open spaces, Sunny-Side also sports 10′-0″ ceiling heights and a Master Suite with panoramic views. The home includes 2,610 square feet plus four exterior deck spaces. Three of the four decks have southern exposure and a romantic private deck is directly accessed from the second story Master Suite. The Sunny-Side Farmhouse delivers with open spaces, tall ceilings and lots of windows.

All The Views

Yesterday we finished grading and back-filling the Sunny-Side Farmhouse. With all of the mounds gone you can really see this house's incredible views.

All Hands On Deck!

We're lifting this 20' staircase wall at the Sunny-Side Farmhouse. It will hold a 6'x9' window and a view.

Progression

Framing at Sunny-Side is progressing really well! The main level walls are nearly complete and we will have a view from the second story soon.

Master Suite View

The western view from the master suite is phenomenal. Whether it's a early morning storm our evening sunset you can see it all from this perch.

We poured the front entry of The Sunny-Side Farmhouse. All this patio needs is some shade. Timber framed roof to follow!

It never gets old and it is humbling to realize that thirty years from now the family living at the Sunny-Side Farmhouse will know that BKS was here.

Easy Does It

Making some delicate cuts with a chainsaw at the Sunny-Side Farmhouse. Three of the four decks are timber framed with Montana sourced lumber.

Foam Insulation

We upgraded the insulation value. You'll never see it but you'll feel it.

Full Schedule

Roofing, siding, driveway and interior finishing begins on Monday.

Plaster

Plaster is starting to arrive and walls are being taped.

Paint Marathon

Five days, two weekends, 4,700 square feet of house and 120 gallons of paint later, our very own Brock and Nate have finished painting.

Great Room Fan

Brock & Nate installed this real wood ceiling. It turned out to be a dramatic upgrade than the ceiling fan got installed and totally stole the show.
